If we were to put title to this latest of National Hockey League lockouts, we would call it The Anaheim Project. Or perhaps, The Spirit of St. Louis.
It was all about the little guys, those mostly non-traditional markets that claim they simply cannot make money with a $48 million cap floor.
Well, now that the NHL owners have ratified the deal by an (ahem) unanimous 30-0 vote, here's predicting that a few years from now, we'll be calling it by another name: The Road to Relocation.
Or how about this one: A Contract for Contraction.
