Patriots Reach Another AFC Title Game

FOXBORO — The Patriots are heading to their seventh AFC Championship in the last 11 years, and they’ve got a rematch with one of their fiercest rivals in recent memory.

The Pats knocked off the Houston Texans, 41-28, today at Gillette Stadium and will host the Ravens next Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The winner will play the Falcons or 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans on Feb. 3.

However, the victory came with serious consequence. Tight end Rob Gronkowski broke his forearm again and will need season-ending surgery, according to a source. Running back Danny Woodhead (left thumb) and defensive end Chandler Jones (ankle) also suffered injuries in the game.
