The Big Ten men's basketball race is unfolding just as every analyst predicted:
Unranked Wisconsin is alone in first place four games into the season.
That is not a misprint.
Wisconsin got outstanding performances from up and down the lineup Tuesday night and stunned second-ranked Indiana, 64-59, in front of a raucous crowd of 17,742 at Assembly Hall.
The improbable victory allowed the Badgers (13-4, 4-0) to extend their dominance over Indiana to 11 consecutive games. That includes five consecutive victories at Assembly Hall, a building in which UW went 25 years (1977-2002) without a victory.
