That might sound harsh because on Ryan's interception, Roddy White fell down on his route and took the hit for turnover: “That was all on me. If I don’t lose my footing, [Chris Culliver] doesn’t pick it off.”

It also might may sound harsh because the Falcons’ defense was handed leads of 17-0 and 24-14, but in four consecutive second-half drives allowed two touchdowns and was fortunate to have two other drives end in a missed field goal and a fumble at the one.

But quarterbacks seldom get away with two second-half turnovers in playoff games. It doesn’t matter that the 49ers didn’t convert either into points because both ended likely Falcons’ scoring drives. The second was a fumbled snap...
