Tiger Makes Monday Finish Matter

This is where the true Tiger Effect comes in.

Ordinarily a Monday finish would happen as early as possible to let everyone else get on with life.

Or, everyone could have played a normal third round, with an additional 54-hole cut, and played a normal fourth round today.

But CBS is intrigued with showing Tiger's 75th PGA Tour victory, so the field starts at 11:10 a.m. here, and Woods will finish at about 5:30 p.m. EST.

Credit the PGA Tour for refusing to deny the obvious.
