It may turn out that San Francisco 49ers defensive back Chris Culliver is narrow-minded, insensitive and homophobic. It may just be that he's an outlandish attention magnet who was so desperate to be noticed in the biggest sporting week of his life that he took a grab for some low-hanging societal fruit. Could be both.
But while we're waiting to answer that, here's a question: Someone cared to put a microphone in front of Chris Culliver?!
Culliver said he would not be open to gay teammates on the 49ers team, and any gay players should come out 10 years after retiring. He said: "I don't do the gay guys, man. I don't do that. No, we don't got no gay people on the team, they gotta get up out of here if they do. Can't be with that sweet stuff. Nah... can't be... in the locker room, man. Nah."
