LeBron Trashes Evans' Talk

On a day Brooklyn Nets forward Reggie Evans questioned the legitimacy of the Miami Heat's 2012 NBA championship, the Heat gave Evans something more tangible to mull:

 Whether the Nets ever will beat the Heat or LeBron James.

 Defeating the Nets for the 13th consecutive time, the Heat swept the season series for the third time in as many years with Wednesday night's 105-85 victory at the Barclays Center.

  During the morning shootaround, Evans questioned whether the Heat's 2012 title was tainted, considering it came after a lockout-shortened 66-game schedule.

  But 66 games or the traditional 82, the Heat simply have the Nets' number, particularly James.
