Jon Lester has always reminded me of Bob Gibson.

Look, I get it: Gibson is a right-hander, Lester is a left-hander. Gibson is black, Lester white. Gibson grew up in Nebraska, Lester grew up in Washington state.
Gibson was a first-ballot Hall of Famer. With Lester, to even discuss the Hall of Fame at this point would be wildly inappropriate.
But Gibson was one incredibly mean, focused pitcher, heavy on the mean. And until last year, meanness was part of what helped Lester to a clinching World Series win, a no-hitter and a career winning...
