Embattled guard Richie Incognito had been mostly silent for more than three months since the Miami Dolphins suspended him. By Wednesday afternoon, he had enough.
In a series of Twitter posts, Incognito ripped into former teammate Jonathan Martin, who he accused of betraying him and revealing suicidal thoughts long before their seemingly tight friendship became the catalyst for an NFL-backed investigation into workplace conduct.
"I'm ready to move on with my life and career," Incognito wrote in the first of a series of tweets. "I've been dragged through the mud for months by my 'best friend'. #betrayed #railroaded"
