7pm – ESPN2 – Maryland vs. UCLA – UCLA is ranked #2 in the nation and you can see why when they face a Maryland team that squeaked out an overtime win over Northeastern. UCLA's star recruit, Kevin Love is averaging 20.7 ppg and 10.3 rpg, and he's shooting over 65%. Love is drawing comparisons to Bill Walton. "Throw it down big man!"
7pm – Versus – Lightning @ Thrashers - The Thrashers look to pull to .500 for the first time this season, but the Lightning come in white hot (cheesy enough?) winning five in a row.
8:30pm – ESPN – Titans @ Broncos – This matchup pits the two most senior coaches in the NFL. Jeff Fisher has been the Titans head coach since 1994 and Mike Shanahan has been the Broncos head coach since 1995. Despite this being a dissapointing season for the Broncos, with a win they would be tied with the Chargers for the division lead in the AFC West. The Titans need a victory to hold their position as a Wild Card team and to keep pace with the Colts and Jaguars in the AFC South.
9pm – ESPN2 – Duke vs. Princeton – Duke is 16-1 all-time against the Tigers. This year both teams are 2-0, but Duke's margin of victory is 45 points whereas Princeton's is 5. There is no one person to watch on Duke as they play a complete team effort. In their first two games, only one player has not had significant playing time.
Non-sports pick – 11:35pm – HBOS – Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid – Paul Newman and Robert Redford, despite the latter's embarrassing collection of directorial efforts, are probably the best on-screen duo ever.
