What To Watch: Tuesday

by Robbie Gillies

7pm ET - ESPN - NIT Season Tip-Off (Syracuse, NY) – St. Joseph's @ Syracuse – Jonny Flynn went 10 for 13 for 28 points, 9 assists, and 5 rebounds. 28 points beats Carmelo Anthony’s record for points in a freshman’s first game at Syracuse. What will he do for an encore?

7:30pm – Versus – Red Wings @ Blues – The Red Wings trail only Ottawa in points in the NHL. On the other hand, the Blue are just one point behind for the least amount in the NHL. If you haven’t heard of Henrik Zetterberg that makes two of us, but he has two more offensive points than Sidney Crosby.

8pm – Big Ten Network – The Big Ten’s Greatest Games: 1997 Ohio State @ Michigan – Remember when Charles Woodson could return kicks? I actually think this is the last time he returned a kick for a touchdown.

9pm - ESPN – NIT Season Tip-Off (Columbus, OH) – Columbia @ Ohio State – Only one returning starter from last year’s NCAA runner-ups. Let’s see what this new team can do, ya know, other than lose to Findlay.

Non-sports pick: 11pm – AMC – Vertigo – Somehow this movie was not a very big commercial success, but it’s my favorite Hitchcock film. Or, if you prefer, Rear Window is on before it at 8pm.
