What To Watch: Thursday

by Robbie Gillies

7:30pm ET - ESPN - College Football Awards Show - Not The Heisman, but pretty much everything else.

8pm - NFL Network - Bears @ Redskins - If you haven't watched the NFL Network, be prepared. I'm not referring to Bryant "Perhaps" Gumbel, but instead to Deion Sanders' man-crush on Devin Hester.

8pm - TNT - Nuggets @ Mavericks - Both teams are coming off of embarrassing losses. The Nuggets lost to the Lakers despite Allen Iverson scoring 51 points and Kobe Bryant's minutes being limited because of an injured shoulder and foul trouble. The Mavs lost to the Spurs without Tim Duncan (although, I'd imagine that made the game much more exciting).

9pm - ESPN2 - Campbell Hall @ St. Edward - I obviously know nothing about High School basketball so here's a description from ESPN, "Top 10 players (according to the ESPN 150), No. 5 Jrue Holiday of Campbell Hall and No. 7 Delvon Roe, of St. Edward flavor the intersectional matchup. Campbell Hall, California's defending Division IV champion, returns four starters, bolstered by the UCLA-bound guard Holiday. St. Edward, which had a 25-game win streak stopped in last year's Division I semifinals, relies on 6-7 Roe (Michigan State) and 6-8 Tom Pritchard (Indiana)."

10:30pm - TNT - Heat @ Trailblazers - I'd assume this was scheduled for the matchup between Shaq and Oden. Well, now these two teams are a combined 10-25. I guess Dwyane Wade is fun to watch...?

Non-sports pick - 9pm - TBS - National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - Remember when Chevy Chase was funny? Yeah, me neither, but I do like rants (NSFW).
