7pm ET - ESPN - Alabama @ #4 Georgetown - The key match up is between Georgetown's 7-2 Center, Roy Hibbert, and Alabama's 6-9 Forward, Richard Hendrix. Hendrix is averaging almost 22 points and 13 rebounds a game, but he hasn't come up against a defender like Hibbert. The Hoyas will try to slow this game down and keep the score below 70. Alabama will try to push it to avoid the Hoyas tough half-court defense.
7:30pm - ESPN2 - Syracuse @ Virginia - Oddly, it's Virginia who has a #44 that's putting up big numbers. What's more odd is #44 is a 6 foot 185 pound guard. UVA's Sean Singletary is averaging 20 points and nearly 7 assists per game. Syracuse's freshman point guard, Jonny Flynn will have to play stellar defense to limit Singletary. The 'Hoos will have their hands full trying to guard 6-9 freshman Donte' Greene. Greene has the inside and outside game and Virginia has no one that can take him one-on-one. They will need to double Greene and make others beat them.
9pm - ESPN - Lakers @ Nuggets - Kobe Bryant played just 29 minutes in the Lakers win over the Timberwolves last night because of a stomach flu. Andrew Bynum missed the game and might miss tonight's game with the same stomach flu. Who knew Kobe and Bynum were that close. Both of these teams have been very inconsistent, but the Nuggets have been consistently dominating at home. They are 8-2 at home and have outscored those opponents by an average of 15 points.
11pm - ESPNU - #6 Washington St. @ #19 Gonzaga - Here's your chance to watch two good west coast teams that aren't on national television very often. Gonzaga has won 7 of the past 8 meetings between these two, but lost their most recent match up exactly one year ago today.
Non-sports pick - 8pm - Discovery Channel - Rise Of The Video Game: Level 3 - Gaming goes from 2D to 3D with games like Doom. The military starts to use this type of technology for training.
