On Tuesday, Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor, when trying to make a point about how his team had to win now (I think), had some harsh words for one of his former players, Kevin Garnett.
"I don't like that so much," Taylor said Tuesday of the suggestion the Wolves tanked at the end of last season, which ended on a seven-game losing streak. "It was more like, I'd say, KG tanked it."
Well, tonight, after the Celtics ended the Rockets 22-game winning streak, David Aldridge asked The Big Ticket what he thought of those comments.
Two quick observations: 1) It was oddly compelling to watch Garnett hear Taylor's words for the first time, and 2) Garnett stayed above it all with his response. Classy move on his part.
And David -- tell Charles, Kenny and Ernie that I say, "What up," too.
