What To Watch: Thursday

by Robbie Gillies

7pm ET - ESPN - #14 Connecticut @ Providence - UConn looks to avenge an earlier season loss to the Friars. The Huskies are looking to secure the third seed in the Big East Tournament whereas Providence is simply hoping to make it.

7pm - ESPN2 - Clemson @ Georgia Tech - Clemson is probably in the Tournament, but another win might calm their nerves a little.

7pm - TNT - Cavaliers @ Bulls - What will LeBron do for an encore following his 50-point performance?

9pm - ESPN - #11 Xavier @ St. Joseph's - Xavier has won 11-straight and has clinched the A-10 regular season title, but will look to improve their seeding in the NCAA tournament in their final two regular season games.

9pm - ESPN2 - Michigan State @ Illinois - The Spartans are coming off their most impressive win of the season. They beat Indiana 103-74 and shot over 60%. They shouldn't need to be that hot to beat Illinois.

9:30pm - TNT - Rockets @ Mavericks - Somehow the Rockets just keep winning despite the loss of Yao Ming. Can they make it 17 in a row? The Mavs are suddenly in 7th place in the West - unfamiliar territory for them.

Non-sports pick - 9pm - Travel Channel - Walt Disney World: Behind The Scenes - I don't think they'll talk about some of the things that happen during a parade...

I've seen many characters in 90 degree heat vomit in their costumes and faint on the floats and were never taken off the float. There's so much going on during a parade that people are not going to notice if Dopey is slumping and he is not waving ... I've never seen them take a character off a float.
