After the Lakers suffered a complete collapse and blew a 24-point lead in a game that would've evened the series, Kobe was asked how you bounce back from a loss like that:
Whine about it tonight. Lot of wine, lot of beer, couple shots. Maybe like 20 of em. Digest it, and get back to work tomorrow.
The problem is, with Kobe taking 20 shots, he's probably only going to hit like 6 of them. Like he did last night, going just 6 for 19. You see, Kobe Bryant has a drinking problem.
Later in the postgame press conference, Bryant was asked what prevented the Lakers from going for the kill in the 3rd quarter and Bryant said:
Nothing we just wet the bed. Nice big one too. One of the ones you can’t put a towel over.
It's alright Kobe. That kind of stuff happens when you take too many shots.
(Hey, two Airplane references in under two weeks. Not bad.)
