The Garbage Picking Field Goal Kicking Canadian Catastrophe

by Robbie Gillies

Just when you thought there was no football news, Mike Vanderjagt resurfaces. The Toronto Argonauts of the CFL signed Vanderjagt at the end of May and he made his not so great debut Friday night. Vanderjagt missed his first three field goal attempts of 32, 39, and 52 yards. He did, however, make his final two (49 and 44 yards), as the Argonauts beat the Winnepeg Blue Bombers 23-16. David Boston also contributed, with one catch for four yards.

Who needs the Bills in Toronto when you have Vanderjagt AND David Boston on the Argonauts?

(Title explanation: Vanderjagt was Tony Danza's stunt double in 'The Garbage Picking Field Goal Kicking Philadelphia Phenomenon" - Gotta love wikipedia)
