What To Watch: Wednesday

by Robbie Gillies

2:30pm ET - ESPN - Euro 2008: Russia vs. Sweden - Russia needs a win to advance where Sweden can advance with a win or draw. More here.

2:30pm - ESPN2 - Euro 2008: Greece vs. Spain - Spain will mainly play reserves because they are already assured a spot in the quarterfinals, whereas Greece has been eliminated. More here.

7pm - ESPN - Cubs @ Rays - Carlos Zambrano looks to win his ninth game of the season against Andy Sonnanstine and the Rays. While the Cubs have the best record in baseball, they've had their struggles on the road: they are just 16-18 away from Wrigley.

7pm - College World Series: Miami vs. Stanford - Miami has had two close losses in which their closer blew one lead and suffered the loss in the other. But, the Miami coach says he will still throw him out there if this one is close. A win by Stanford would set up a rematch of Monday's game, where Georgia beat Stanford, 4-3.

Non-sports pick - 8pm - FX - Any Given Sunday - Not a big fan of Oliver Stone, but it's the only football on until the beginning of the preseason on August 3rd.
