Michael Irvin will be with the NFL Network team, broadcasting the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Irvin was likely brought on because of his emotional speech during last year's ceremony.
It is unknown if this one-time gig will lead to Irvin working with the NFL Network on a more permanent basis, joining his old buddy Deion Sanders. Irvin was an analyst on ESPN for a few years and now hosts a mid-day show on ESPN Radio in Dallas. Irvin seems happy with his current job, but he loves the spotlight and it wouldn't be surprising to see him come back to TV. I just don't know if there are enough ugly suits for both him and Deion.
I like Deion's analysis better than Irvin's, who can be quite annoying. But they are both better than former teammate and Englishl-y challenged, Emmitt Smith.
