Favre's Not The Only One Making A Comeback

by Robbie Gillies

The Portland Tribune reports Bill Walton expects to be back broadcasting for ABC/ESPN next season. Walton couldn't broadcast much of the 2007-08 season due to bulging disks and a pinched nerve that affected his back and hip.

I might be in the minority, but I've always enjoyed Walton's enthusiasm for the game and blatantly over-the-top statements. Here's hoping he is back for ESPN's first broadcast of the 2008-2009 NBA season, featuring the Spurs traveling to Phoenix to play the Suns. Who will get the "throw it down big man" first - Duncan or Stoudemire?
