When someone starts a statement with, "I might catch some flak for this" they should probably stop right there. Nothing that comes out of that person's mouth after that point is going to be a good thing.
"Might catch some flak for this but they're front-runners. When you doing good they're on your side, when you're doing bad they're completely against you."
Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy...what are you doing? Calling out Philly fans? Everyone loved you in Philly. You endeared yourself to them when you so brazenly called the Phillies the "team to beat in the NL East" in 2007 and followed it by winning the MVP. You were doing EVERYTHING right.
But calling out the fans? And Phillies fans? They haven't won a World Series since 1980 and prior to last year hadn't been to the playoffs since 1993. But, now as Phillies fans how will they respond? Will they still cheer Rollins or will they boo him and further re-enforce his point? Your move Philadelphia.
