That's Anna Rawson. She's an Australian golfer that attended USC and does some modeling - and guess who just scored her digits?
Actually, anyone who read this article in the Press-Register:
Rawson is the first professional golfer to establish a cell phone number her fans can call and leave messages for her.
Only four weeks old, the number — 213-785-7675 — allows her fans to leave personal messages. She said she has started listening to the messages and is going to return some of the calls.
She added she likes the personal touch of the cell phone contact with fans and believes it's a more personal way to keep in touch with them than mailing an autographed photo.
I called the number (it's my job, right?) and was given options of what I could do:
-To listen to messages from this person, press 1
-To record a message, press 2
-To listen to the most recent fan messages, press 3
So first time I pressed 1. It's Anna basically doing a phone blog explaining where she is and what she's been doing. But there's something really bizarre about her voice coming out of my cell phone.
That part wasn't so entertaining, but then there was option 3. If you have some time to kill, these can be entertaining. Overall though, they're pretty bland, and it's people either just telling her she's hot, or that they hope she continues to improve her golf game. The people who call in remind me of George-Michael in Arrested Development, when he thought he had a chance with his teacher (Heather Graham): "I thought like maybe as a joke thing I'd go up to her and be like 'Well hey do you wanna dance?' And she'd be like 'Eh what the heck.' Right? Or somethin..I dunno. I did it differently in front of the mirror. But, you know we'd be joke dancing...I didn't think it through."
