Oregon State Upsets #1 USC

by Ryan Hudson

USC, the number one team in the land, and favored by at least 25 points in most places, just traveled to Corvallis, Oregon, and lost to the mighty...Beavers?

Oregon State, playing in front an "oranged-out" Reser Stadium, rode freshman running back Jacquizz Rodgers for 186 yards on 37 carries, and two touchdowns, one of which came with 2:39 left in the game that all but sealed it for OSU.

If the Trojans had one more drive, they probably could have pulled it out (they outscored the Beavers 21-6 in the second half), but, sadly for them, football is only sixty minutes.

So, everyone excited for Missouri-Ohio St. in the BCS Championship?
