What To Watch: Wednesday

by Robbie Gillies

3pm ET - TBS - Brewers @ Phillies - The Brewers make their first postseason appearance since 1982.

6:30pm - TBS - Dodgers @ Cubs - Learn a little bit about the history these two teams and cities have with each other. I didn't know Cedric Benson had been in the Dodgers farm club.

8pm - ESPN - Louisiana Tech @ #17 Boise State - Boise has a 45-game home regular season win streak and looks to continue it's domination in the WAC.

8pm - ESPN2 - WNBA Finals: Detroit Shock @ San Antonio Silver Stars - The Shock are looking to win their fourth straight title.

10pm - TBS - Red Sox @ Angels - The Red Sox look to win their 10th straight game over the Angels in the postseason. Will this be looming in the Angels heads?

Non-sports pick - 9pm - T101 - Friday Night Lights - The show no one watches is back on a channel no one has. The show will premiere only on DirecTV and will be shown on NBC at the beginning of the year. I think it's a dumb move but I have DirecTV so it works for me.

OR for those that don't have DirecTV

8pm - AMC - Breaking Bad - I've heard little talk about this show but Bryan Cranston won an Emmy for it and the show also won for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series. AMC is showing the pilot and it's worth a look.
