RCS NFL Scoop Counter Update: Matt Schaub Injured & DeAngelo Hall To Be Released

by Robbie Gillies

On Monday, Jay Glazer reported Texans' QB Matt Schaub tore his MCL and would be out at least a month. Schaub was hurt when he was hit by Vikings' Jared Allen in the second quarter. Schaub played out the quarter but Sage Rosenfels took over in the second half.

Glazer earns a bronze in the RCS Scoop Counter. This puts him just one point ahead of Adam Schefter because of Schefter's most recent scoop.

Schefter broke the news that the Raiders would cut CB DeAngelo Hall. The Falcons traded Hall to the Raiders this offseason for a second round pick in the 2008 Draft. The Raiders signed Hall to a big contract to team him up with Nnamdi Asomugha in what was supposed to be one of the best CB duos in the NFL. Hall does have 3 interceptions this season but teams have exploited him all season long while avoiding Asomugha at all costs.

Schefter picks up a silver for breaking this story.
