What To Watch: Thursday

by Robbie Gillies

4:30pm ET - ESPN2 – NCAA Basketball: UT-Chattanooga at #12 Memphis - Check out Memphis G Tyreke Evans. He might be the best freshman in the country.

7:00pm - ESPN2 - NCAA Basketball: Southern Illinois vs. #5 Duke - Duke squeaked by Rhode Island at home on Sunday and now face the always dangerous Salukis.

7:30pm - ESPN – NCAA Football: #23 Miami at Georgia Tech - Miami made it into the top-25 for the first time in over two years this week and hopes to stay there. A win would give the Hurricanes a little cushion in the ACC Coastal division. If Georgia Tech wins the two teams will be tied atop the Coastal division.

8pm - NFL Network - Bengals at Steelers - Remember to set your fantasy lineups because that's the only thing about this game that matters. Steelers should win easily.

8pm - TNT – NBA: Pistons at Celtics - In Iverson's debut with the Pistons, they lost to the Celtics, but recently they have been playing great basketball. They just snapped the Cavs’ eight-game win-streak and are the only team to beat the Lakers. Beating the Celtics would go a long way to convincing people the Iverson trade can work this year.

9pm - ESPN2 - NCAA Basketball: #4 UCLA vs. Michigan - UCLA struggled against Miami (OH) and are still trying to figure out how to mesh their young freshmen talent with the seniors that have been to three straight Final Fours.

10:30pm - TNT – NBA: Lakers at Suns - Yeah there's Shaq vs. Kobe, but I'm more interested to see how the Lakers will try to contain Amare Stoudemire.

Non-sports pick - 10pm - FX - It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - It's the season finale and if you're a fan of the show, you know the plot of this show is a can't miss: "Charlie stages a rock opera based on his song ‘Nightman.’”
