What To Watch: Tuesday

by Robbie Gillies

4pm ET - ESPN2 – NCAA Basketball: Maui Invitational: Alabama vs. Chaminade - Alabama probably won't beat Chaminade as badly as UNC beat them, but it should still be a blowout.

7pm - ESPN – NCAA Basketball: Maui Invitational: #7 Texas vs. #8 Notre Dame - These are the type of games that could determine whether one of these teams gets a two, three, or four seed in the tournament. College basketball is beginning to get exciting.

7pm - ESPN2 – NCAA Football: Western Michigan at #15 Ball State - Despite being undefeated, Ball State will need to beat Western Michigan just to win the MAC outright. Even if they do, they will be one of two undefeated teams to not make a BCS bowl game (Boise State is the other).

7pm - Versus – NHL: Blues at Predators - Despite the Blues winning their past two games they are tied for the 3rd worst point total in the league.

9:30pm - ESPN – NCAA Basketball: Maui Invitational: #1 North Carolina vs. Oregon - UNC is 4-0 and has outscored it's opponents by nearly 25 points per game. Although that stat is inflated by their 115-70 drubbing of Chaminade, Oregon will still have its hands full.

10pm - ESPN2 – NCAA Basketball: #23 Kansas vs. Syracuse - Kansas took care of Washington and beat #18 Florida to advance to the CBE Classic final. The last time these two teams played was the 2003 Finals. You think ESPN will mention this?

Non-sports pick - 10pm - FX - The Shield - If you haven't started watching, I don't recommend starting with the series finale. This is more a ringing endorsement for one of the most intense shows ever. Give it a try. You might love it.
