by Ryan Hudson

The Super Bowl has become a worldwide event. It is broadcast in over 200 countries and is viewed by over 100 million people. With such a monstrous event, the build up can seem endless. From the time that the Conference Champions are crowned to the opening kickoff and the two weeks in between, there is a lot time that sports media outlets need to fill. Yes, college basketball is starting to get to the inner-conference rivalries, and the NBA is hitting the midseason mark, but the NFL still rules, and no U.S. sporting event is covered more than the Super Bowl.

Of course, there is only so much to report and it’s only a matter of time before every outlet has covered the same handful of interesting angles, over and over again. The Super Bowl is just days away now and you’re probably already sick of these, but if not, we present the 10 Most Overplayed Super Bowl XLIII Storylines.
