The RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages combine eight* other sites' power rankings to make the most balanced and unbiased grade possible, and to offer the most accurate look at the state of the NBA on a weekly basis.
The Celtics take sole possession of the #1 spot in the RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages this week. The rankings have changed little since last week, with the same exact order in the top 6, and nine of the same top 10 teams. Falling out of the top ten are the Suns, who dropped from 10th to 13th; taking their place are the Mavericks, who rose up from 14th to 10th.
The Mavericks rose the most spots of any team in the rankings this week, climbing up 4 spots; also rising 4 spots were the Bulls, who jumped from 24th to 20th. Falling the most spots in the rankings this week were the Timberwolves, who are down 4 spots from 17th to 21st.
The Western Conference continues to have 7 of the top 10 ranked teams, as well as 5 of the bottom 6.
*6 sites had posted their rankings for the week at the time the blog was published. Rankings will be updated as they become available.
