7pm – MLB Network - World Baseball Classic - United States vs. Venezuela - The US already earned their spot in the next round thanks to some 9th-inning heroics last night against Puerto Rico. This game determines the pool winner, and seeding for the semifinals.
7pm ET - ESPN2 - NIT: Miami @ Providence - The Friars were probably just one win away from the real tournament. Time to prove you belonged. Not that a win against Miami will do that...
7pm - ESPN – NBA: Heat @ Celtics - The Celtics have lost four of five, including a 107-99 loss to the Heat last Wednesday. The Celtics are now 4.5 games behind the Cavs in the East and just a half game up on the Magic.
9pm - ESPN2 - NIT: Georgetown @ Baylor - Georgetown was probably the most disappointing team in college basketball this year. Can they get back a little respect with some NIT wins?
9:30pm - ESPN – NBA: Pistons @ Rockets - The Pistons will be without the services of Iverson and Rasheed Wallace, and could be without Richard Hamilton. Those missing players would be really tough to overcome.
11pm - ESPN2 - World Baseball Classic - Japan vs. Cuba - The loser is eliminated and the winner moves on to the semifinals.
Non-sports pick - 8pm - ABC - Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - In case you got nostalgic after the latest episode of The Office.
