What to Watch: Weekend Edition

by Robbie Gillies

8pm ET - ESPN – NBA: Cavaliers @ Magic - The Magic are fighting for the 2nd spot in the East and the Cavs are fighting for home-court throughout the playoffs. Oh, and it's Dwight Howard and LeBron James – that’s exciting.

10:30pm - ESPN – NBA: Rockets @ Lakers - I wonder how much Ron Artest is going to talk this time around?

Non-sports pick - 8pm - TNT - Catch Me If You Can - It's one of DiCaprio's best performances.

11am/1pm - ESPN2 - National High School Invitational: Semis - The quarterfinals happen Friday. Here's a bracket.

12:30pm - CBS - Sony Ericsson Open: Women's Championship - Serena beat her sister in the semis and will now face Victoria Azarenka.

1pm - NBC - PGA Tour: Shell Houston Open, Third Round - Follow the leaderboard.

3pm - ESPN2 - NASCAR: O'Reilly 300 - At the Texas Motor Speedway.

3pm - ESPN – NBA: Pistons @ 76ers - Pistons are hanging onto that playoff spot despite their poor play. The 76ers would like to hold onto the 5th spot in the East and avoid one of those top three teams in the first round.

5pm - NBC – Santa Anita Derby & Illinois Derby - I didn't even know they aired non-Triple Crown races anymore.

6pm - CBS – NCAA Final Four: #1 Connecticut vs. #2 Michigan State - How many times do you think they'll mention Goran Suton's background as a Bosnian refugee? You think it will be more or less than the upbeat story of a Detroit team in the Final Four?

8:30pm - CBS – NCAA Final Four: #1 North Carolina vs. #3 Villanova - The MVP of the tournament has been Ty Lawson, but it was Scottie Reynolds that gave us the play of the tournament.

Non-sports pick - 11pm - Comedy Central - Chris Rock: Never Scared - Clip (NSFW)

1pm - ABC – NBA: Spurs @ Cavaliers - Everyone talks about how home-court advantage isn't as important to the veteran Spurs. But they could easily slip all the way to the seven spot and not have an advantage in any round.

1:30pm - Fox - NASCAR: Samsung 500 - A list at the participants.

3pm - CBS - LPGA: Kraft Nabisco Championship, Final Round - I'm going with Double-Stuffed Oreos. Yep, definitely the best Nabisco product.

3pm - NBC - PGA: Shell Houston Open, Final Round - Leaderboard.

3:30pm - ABC – NBA: Suns @ Mavericks - Technically the Suns are still alive...technically.

7pm - ESPN - Women's Tournament: #3 Louisville vs. #1 Oklahoma - ESPN has a pretty good preview here.

8pm - ESPN2 – MLB Opening Night: Braves @ Phillies - The defending World Series champions begint heir title defense.

9:30pm - ESPN - Women's Tournament: #1 Connecticut vs. #2 Stanford - Stanford upset UConn last year. Don't expect it to happen again.

Non-sports pick - 9pm - ABC Family - Mean Girls - Let's try and remember Lohan from more innocent times.
