The Week at RCS: A Retrospective Journey

by Ryan Hudson

Are we living in the era of cornhole? Wait. Before we proceed, let's establish we are, of course, referring to the game cornhole (also known as "Bags"), and nothing else.

If you haven't played, well, you're missing out (maybe it's a Southern thing?). It may very well be the ultimate summer activity, perfect for the beach, backyard or BBQ (and can even be played with a beverage in hand!).

The Nationals recently introduced The Bullpen, an outdoor area where fans can stand around and drink before and after the game (they need something -- the team's 13-33), and it's complete with a whole section of cornhole boards. There's now cornhole arcade games (think of something similar to Golden Tee), and yes, even a movie, something that looks even worse than you can imagine.

So use this weekend to introduce yourself to cornhole, or if you've already played, get reacquainted. Before you know it, it'll be winter again.

From the Yellow Jersey to the Stanley Cup, it's the Top 10 Iconic Trophies in Sports.

It's never too early for some football. With that in mind, here's the RCS Preseason NFL Power Ranking Averages.

Speaking of rankings...the Dodgers are still the best team in baseball, says everyone.

Remember when that guy said the Nationals and Capitals were buying steroids? What happened to that story?

Jeff Briggs took a look at the NBA officiating, and what the big guys were saying about it.
