Everything in darkness eventually comes to light.
So it's not surprising Allen Iverson's personal problems have surfaced since he and the Philadelphia 76ers parted ways last week.
On Sunday, Philadelphia Inquirer's Stephen A. Smith reported gambling and alcohol problems are ravaging A.I.'s personal life. Yesterday via Twitter, Iverson admitted he's "going through some very tough times" right now.
It's just heartbreaking that as a fan I didn't realize his personal world was crumbling months ago when he actually flagged a warning sign when he rejoined the Sixers on Dec. 2.
While many NBA fans and I thought he was crying during the press conference because he was returning home to the team that drafted him with the No. 1 pick in 1996, in fact, it's likely he was just crying out for help and I nor no one else heard him.
