Top 10 NBA Teams for 2010-2011 Season

There's not much of that in the NBA these days. Out of the 30 teams in the league, All Net considers only four squads having a legit shot this season at winning the championship in June. So for NBA fans in those four cities, it should be an exciting basketball year, but for diehards in the other 26 it's going to be another grueling, heart-wrenching eight months.

Here are All Net's Top 10 NBA teams for the 2010-2011 season. Please read, enjoy and drop a comment.

10). Houston Rockets. With a healthy Yao Ming, the Rockets at least have a shot to compete with the elite teams. Free agent Brad Miller adds some depth, and shooting guard Kevin Martin needs to score in bunches.

9). Utah Jazz. The Jazz boast the essential floor leader and best point guard in the game today, Deron Williams. Carlos Boozer is gone, but new acquisitions Raja Bell and Al Jefferson more than make up for his lost.

8). Chicago Bulls. No LeBron James or Dwyane Wade, but the Bulls got Boozer, Kyle Korver and Randy Brewer to complement Derrick Rose. They'll be one of the more entertaining squads to watch for sure.

7). Oklahoma Thunder. Things can change quickly in a year. The Thunder's young phenom Kevin Durant is now rightfully hailed as one of the league's best ballers, and his cohorts have elevated into the NBA Top 10.

6). Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs just keep retooling. Despite the many postseason failures, Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Kidd still believe they can get it done. New big man Tyson Chandler should pay big dividends for them.

5). San Antonio Spurs. Like the Mavs, the Spurs have ample weapons. Richard Jefferson and their young guns just have to step up to support their aging Big Three, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili.

4). Orlando Magic. The 2009 East champs sit in the ideal position with all eyes on the Heat, Celtics and Lakers. Dwight Howard needs to prove he's Superman, and Vince Carter needs to show extra elevation this year.

3). Miami Heat.  With stars Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh, the Heat will have no problem putting on shows in arenas. The concern, however, is defensively handling the plethora of talent on the other superpowers.

2). Boston Celtics. The Celtics added beef with the O'Neals (Shaquille and Jermaine) and energy with Delonte West. The keys, though, are point guard Rojon Rondo staying in control and Kevin Garnett remaining healthy.

1). Los Angeles Lakers. The two-time defending NBA champs are our clear-cut No. 1 top team yet again. Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom and Derek Fisher perhaps feel slighted with all the Heat hoopla, which is bad news for the rest of the league.
