The Panthers signed second-round draft choice Sherrod Martin to a four-year contract today, putting all seven of Carolina's 2009 draft picks under contract for the coming season.

A 6-1, 200-pound defensive back, Martin was an All-Sun Belt Conference performer last season at Troy and will likely be the Panthers' nickel back this season.

Financial terms of the four-year deal were not immediately disclosed.
