Panthers' DT Sidelined By Broken Ankle

The Panthers lost another player to injury in Sunday's game against the Falcons and once again it comes at the position where they could least afford to lose a player.

Already reeling from the season-ending torn achilles injury to defensive tackle Maake Kemoeatu, the Cats have now lost Kemoeatu's replacement, Louis Leonard, who suffered a broken ankle in Sunday's loss to Atlanta.

Leonard will be placed on Injured Reserve in the next 24-48 hours.

The loss of Leonard leaves Carolina with just one experienced player at the defensive tackle position, starter Damione Lewis.

Look for the Cats to add another experienced defensive tackle to the roster as quickly as possible.
