The New England Patriots agreed to terms with Jonathan Wilhite, a 5'10" cornerback out of Auburn. Terms of the contract weren't disclosed.

Wilhite played 34 games for the Tigers and snagged three picks while garnering just over 100 tackles.

The secondary was a point of interest for the Patriots in the draft. The loss of Asante Samuel and Randall Gay should decimate their secondary but in typical champion fashion they will probably bounce back.
