Fantasy Football's Week 14 Waiver Wire
The Fantasy Football playoffs are finally here and
Fantasy Owners are always looking for any extra edge they can get. Well,
this week a rookie leads the latest candidates that should have all
Fantasy Owners wanting to add him to their team.
James Starks, Green Bay Packers
In a previous Waiver Wire article, I wrote about the ability of Starks and he finally received the opportunity to play and produced.
With injury to the backup running back, Starks was activated in Week 13 and outplayed starting running back Brandon Jackson. He rushed 18 times for 73 yards as Jackson only had four carries for 13 yards. Starks showed explosiveness and speed against the 49ers rush defense.
Next week the Packers will play against a weak Detroit Lions defense. Coming into play in Week 13, the Lions are tied for 24th against the run and have allowed opposing running backs 4.6 yards per carry, which is 28th in the NFL.
Owned in less than one percent of ESPN leagues and five percent CBS Sportsline leagues, Fantasy Owners should put in a claim in on the rookie and start him as a flex-option for Week 14...
