Top Recruit Gives Praise to UConn's HoF Coach, Boeheim?

Brandon Knight is the top recruit of the 2010 class. He's a 6'3 point guard from Florida and last night he hit the game-winning three-pointer in the McDonald's All-American game. He has narrowed his choice of schools down to Kentucky, Florida, Kansas, UConn and Syracuse.

The video below has Knight talking about what each team brings to the table. There's Kentucky that "will always have a good program as long as they have a good coach," there's Syracuse, "another number one seed playing deep into the tournament," there's Florida with their "back-to-back national championships," and then there's UConn who has "a hall of fame coach in Coach Boeheim." Wait, what? He continues to say, "You can't really go wrong with that. He'll, I believe, put you in the right position to succeed." So, is this a good thing or bad thing for Cuse? Clearly, he's got Boeheim and Syracuse on his mind but is it bad that he 's getting them mixed up? Maybe he'll soon realize that Syracuse was a number one seed AND they have Boeheim. Then what choice would he really have? Let's hope Syracuse's other recruit Fab Melo is recruiting Knight to Central New York.
