General Manager Omar Minaya has decided to change the training staff and get rid of this team of doctors.
I just read this on the Mets website-it only took them 2 years of a very young Jose Reyes not playing a full season to realize that this medical staff was not exactly top notch, or maybe it was the fact that this crack team of medical experts advised the Wilpons to sign a bloated, old and arthritic first baseman who had been out of baseball for over a year due to injuries, but not to sign 27 year old superstar Vladimir Guerrero because he had a back injury that he roared back from with a vengeance that very same season he was injured and went on to play killer baseball with Annaheim the following season.

I wonder if the combination of those things finally rasied some eyebrows within the Mets organization.
