Ok Mets FANS, I emphasize Mets FANS because now is a time where it is so important to back your players 100%. I don't care if it is Jorge Julio in a 1 run game, the Mets need some help before they completely let this lead slip away.

The team is lacking the big bats in Floyd and Beltran so the opposing teams are feasting on the weaker line up. Now we have Matsui back who is a huge improvement over Anderson Hernandez offensively. Matsui's defense is NOT as bad as people want to make it and now is the time to back him up more than ever.

If Matsui is to ever get out of the image of the past 2 years, we need to help. The booing of our players is something we need to stop. Let them know that if they wear the Mets logo and colors, then they are one of us. Matsui needs it just as much as anyone, but this guy actually has the talent and ability to be something special. Let's help him fulfill the promise he made when he came here. He has the ability to keep the Mets ahead of the other teams if he just plays the game the way he is capable of. Let's not give him any reason not to be able to.
