Keppinger Traded to Kansas City

I can't really judge this trade because I dont know a thinh about Ruben Gotay-My pal Mike from Mike's Mets (mikesmets.com) said the same thing.

Here is some info on the trade that I got from John Strubel's great site metsdaily.com:
As first reported at MetsDaily.com, the Mets acquired second baseman Ruben Gotay from the Kansas City Royals for Norfolk Tides infielder Jeff Keppinger. Gotay will join Norfolk, of the International League, and Keppinger will be assigned to Omaha, of the Pacific Coast League.

Gotay, a 23-year-old switch-hitter, batted .264 with nine homers, 43 RBIs, 16 doubles and seven stolen bases in 87 games for Omaha. Keppinger played in 33 games with the Mets in 2004. He batted .284, with three home runs and nine RBIs. In 86 games with Norfolk this season, the 26-year-old batted .299 with two homers and 26 RBIs.

I always like Keppinger but I also felt he was shown the same love and appreciation that the organization shows Aaron Heilman.
Stat-wise it looks like a wash, Gotay may have more power, but then you scariface the batting average, I don't know how Gotay is defensively, but I know Keppinger was solid over there.
