Where Will Best Go In The 2010 NFL Draft?

Jahvid Best is one of the most dynamic players available in the 2010 NFL Draft. Best has the ability to take it the distance on any play. Teams that are looking for a RB to complement their starter should be interested in Jahvid. A team like the Detroit Lions who have Kevin Smith as their starter could get more explosive plays in their run game if they draft Best. Smith gained 747 yards on 217 carries and averaged 3.4 YPC. Detroit needs a big play RB and Best could provide big runs, catch passes and return kicks.

Jahvid should be selected in the 2nd or 3rd of the NFL Draft. Look for a team that has multiple picks in rounds 2 and 3 to pick Best. The Patriots have three 2nd round picks and the Browns have three 3rd round picks. The Browns could team Best up with Jerome Harrison. The Patriots could use Jahvid as a complement to Laurence Maroney. The ideal situation for Best would be with a team that already has an in between the tackles power back. Some other teams that should consider drafting Best are Kansas City, Chicago, Cincinnati, Tampa Bay and St. Louis.
