With a chance to take a four-point lead, California guard Brandon Smith only made 1 of 2 shots from the free throw line. On the next possession Arizona PG Lamont Jones made a shot and was fouled. After completing the three-point play the Wildcats sent the game to OT. The Wildcats played two OT's without star player Derrick Williams. After defeating the Bears 107-105 the Wildcats are alone at the top of the Pac-10 standings. Lamont Jones, Derrick Williams and Kevin Parrom all scored in double digits. The Wildcats next three games are at ASU, and they get Washington State and Washington at home
