UCLA Upsets The Sun Devils

The Bruins defeated the Arizona State Sun Devils 29-28 and now find themselves in first place in the Pac-12 South. UCLA has games remaining against Utah, Colorado and USC. The Bruins have a 5-4 record and need one more victory to become Bowl eligible. If UCLA wants to qualify for the Pac-12 Championship they need to either run the table or go 2-1 and hope that ASU drops one of their last three games. The Sun Devils still have to play Washington State, Arizona and California.

Rick Neuheisel deserves a lot of credit for getting his team in this position when just a few weeks ago the Bruins looked like they were headed for a disastrous season. The Bruins got great contributions from RB Derrick Coleman and WR Nelson Rosario. Coleman finished the game with 17 carries for 119 yards and 2 TD's. Rosario caught 5 passes for 151 yards and 1 TD. The Bruins must take another step forward next week in their game at Utah.
