Unstoppable. Faster. No, not the Denzel Washington and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson action thriller. These are words used by every analyst and fan of the NFL to describe Michael Vick, although his life story could be a Hollywood film someday.
The young, amazingly talented athlete rising to stardom and then falling from grace and into prison as he enters his physical prime. Upon his return he turns his life around on and off the field. His personal life and growth mirrors his performance on the field--both reaching their full potential once he matures and makes the proper decisions.
His success is so great that people begin to think of him as the most dangerous Quarterback in history and the notoriously tough Commissioner says he is proud of the controversial superstar.
So what does it mean for a left handed QB with a rocket arm and 4.4 speed to reach his full potential? Check his stats: 115 passer rating (highest in the NFL), 11 TD/0 INT, 341 rushing yards (7.8 per carry...sounds like Marcus Dupree...ironically Dupree was from Philadelphia, Mississippi and Vick plays for the Philadelphia Eagles), and 4 rushing TD's.
Another word used to describe Michael Vick these days...MVP.
The only negative that came from the Eagles blowout win over the Redskins and Vicks historic performance was DeSean Jackson poor choice of words when asked about the pre-game "activity" against Washington. It involved the words "Pit bull" and "cage." Not smart.
Another bad move, Clinton Portis wearing a Phillies hat before the game against the Eagles.
