Or new hobbies. Or even a book to read. Something. Anything, really. Why, you ask?
Because students at Vassar are playing...wait for it...wait...quidditch.
If you don't know what quidditch is, then clearly you are not keeping up with your Harry Potter readings, because that is where it comes from. You see, its a fictional sport (all emphasis mine):
"It is described as an extremely rough but very popular semi-contact sport played by wizards and witches around the world. Matches are played between two teams of seven players riding flying broomsticks, using four balls and six elevated ring-shaped goals. The rules of the game are extremely complicated by the standards of modern sports, and gameplay has been described as a cross between "cricket, soccer and hockey"
Despite the fact that it seemingly requires FLYING, and is, ya know, a MADE-UP SPORT, it has not stopped some proud Brewers (really? Vassar's nickname is the "Brewers?") from playing, and thankfully (sadly?), there is video evidence.
