Calvin Johnson (Lions) - Johnson had 3 catches for 45 yards including a 35-yard touchdown pass where he caught it over cornerback Kevin Dockery. That is why you draft a 6'5" wide receiver, right? To make plays in the endzone. So why did Kitna heave a 55-yard jump ball to 5'10" wide receiver Shaun McDonald?
Ted Ginn Jr. (Dolphins) - If this had been Ginn's first game as a Dolphin, Fin fans would be loving their 9th overall pick. But this was the Dolphins 10th game and 10th loss, and Ginn's 87-yard punt return for a touchdown and career-high 4 catches for 52 yards seems too little, too late.
Dwayne Bowe (Chiefs) - Even with Brody Croyle as the QB, Bowe is still their #1 receiver. Bowe had 7 catches for 64 yards including a sensational over-the-shoulder grab in the endzone. Bowe is 23rd in the league in receiving yards with 604.
John Beck (Dolphins)- Beck became the 2nd rookie QB to start this year (Trent Edwards was first), and it wasn't easy going. Although he did manage to stay mistake free throwing zero interceptions, he went 9 for 22 for only 109 yards. Too early to tell if he's the next Marino or simply the 11th starting quarterback since Marino's retirement in 1999.
Dwayne Jarrett (Panthers) - Last week he tripled his productivity for the season and this week he doubled it. Jarrett had 3 catches for 39 yards. He also broke up a sure interception on what was supposed to be a fade route to the corner of the endzone.
David Harris (Jets) - Not quite the performances of his first two starts (24 tackles and 17 tackles), but Harris again led the team with 11 tackles as well as getting one of the Jets seven sacks.
