Knicks Fans Should Try Cheering Louder Next Time

It's hardly a secret that the Knicks are not good this season. At 6-14, they own the second-worst record in the East. They infamously lost to the Celtics by like, 100 points. Oh, and then there's that small court case they're dealing with.

And now, finally, we have someone to blame for their laughable year thus far: the fans!

During last night's 99-89 loss to the Mavericks, the Madison Square Garden crowd booed throughout most of the game, and offered up some "Fire Isiah!" chants, which have now become commonplace. Well, Isiah has had enough:

"Late in the game, he could be seen debating some fans sitting near the court. One of those fans, Mara Altschuler, was so enraged by the discussion that she sought out reporters after the final buzzer.

'He said it’s the fans’ fault because they don’t have a good sixth man,' said Altschuler, who has season tickets near midcourt. Her family has had the seats for more than 40 years, since the old Garden, she said."

And then, just for good measure:

"There were even malfunctions off the court, including a fire alarm that briefly blared 30 minutes before tip-off."

Your 2007-08 New York Knicks, lades and gentlemen. They truly are the gift that keeps on giving.
