NFL Rookie Watch: Week 15
Calvin Johnson (Lions) - With Roy Williams out, Johnson is becoming the main target. He recorded his first 100 yard receiving game, finishing with 5 catches for 102 yards. That's the good news. The bad news is the Lions lost 51-14 and have lost six in a row.
Adrian Peterson (Vikings) - Looks like Peterson's knee is healthy. In the third quarter he made a couple ridiculous move to get into the endzone for the second time of the game. Peterson had 20 carries for 78 yards in the Vikings 20-13 win over the Bills. The Vikings have now won five in a row.
Marshawn Lynch (Bills) - The second best rookie running back, but he's playing for a team that's just not that talented. Lynch carried the ball 21 times for 82 yards in a loss to the Browns. The loss pretty much eliminates their hopes of the playoffs.
Darelle Revis (Jets) - Revis intercepted Tom Brady (just his 6th interception thrown this season) and recorded 5 tackles, but it was not enough as the Pats stayed undefeated. Revis is tied for 3rd among rookies with three interceptions this season.
Dwayne Bowe (Chiefs) - Bowe continues to be the one bright spot for the Chiefs. He led the receivers with 5 catches for 64 yards, but the Chiefs lost their seventh game in a row.
Anthony Gonzalez (Colts) - While most rookies have hit the wall, Gonzalez has produced more for the Colts as of late. He led the Colts with 7 receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown as they beat the Raiders 21-14. The Colts are flying under the radar just as they did last season.
Darius Walker (Texans) - Walker has seen his playing time increase in the past two weeks and the Texans have won their last two; coincidence? Probably, but I'm sure it helps to have two capable backs in Walker and Ron Dayne. Walker had 13 carries for 66 yards in the Texans win over the Broncos.
